At Active we have recently assisted one of our FE College customers with the creation of a Power Automate flow to assist the process of moving Enquiries to Apprenticeships within their CRM.
The college wanted to automate their Enquiries to Apprenticeship Vacancies process by adding a button to their enquiry form which would then create an apprenticeship vacancy record. The idea was for this to take the information inputted on the enquiry form and auto-populate the fields on their apprenticeship vacancy form without the need for double data entry. Our solution added a toggle to their enquiry form, which when set to “Yes”, uses Power Automate to create an Apprenticeship Enrolment record and automatically populates several fields using information inputted on the enquiry form, therefore streamlining their current process and removing the need for double entry.

Another FE college customer is running a campaign to onboard candidates who are seeking help to find an apprenticeship. They are using a Microsoft Form via their Website that captures key applicant data such as contact details, education details and career interests.
We’ve created a Power Automate flow that’s triggered on each new form submission. The flow creates a new Contact record in their CRM, mapping form responses directly to custom fields. This eliminates manual data entry and ensures contacts are automatically categorised based on predefined criteria (e.g interest area, apprenticeship level). Additionally, marketing source is captured supporting commercial reporting and campaign performance tracking.
