Dynamics 365 Education – Customer News
The latest FE colleges in the north west to adopt MSDynamics 365 Education to manage their apprenticeships.
St Helens College
St Helens College is one of the largest further and higher education providers in the Northwest, providing training to around 8,000 students across two main campuses.
St Helens College works closely with employers from across the Liverpool City Region to not only close the skills gap but to contribute to the economic turnaround of the region. They are actively involved in the community, with local businesses and have excellent links with industry.
The College has a strong focus on not only providing opportunities for students to gain work placements, apprenticeships and job opportunities but to ensure employers have access to a trained and skilled workforce, needed for the future.
Our role will be to work with the business facing, Commercial and Apprenticeship teams, to configure Dynamics 365 Education to deliver the staff and college customer efficiencies and experience that they require.
The college has teams spread across their two campuses, and joining up all Employer focused activities onto the one unified platform, will allow them to deliver a more efficient and cohesive customer experience. Our Solution will be using the new Dynamics Unified Interface enabling CRM access across both web and mobile devices.
Alongside our Dynamics CRM, we are also building a bespoke Dynamics Customer Portal which will allow the College staff, local employers and the candidates to share information, communicate and collaborate across the new platform and alleviate many of the usual administrative burdens on all parties.
We will be working with Oldham College over the coming months to configure the solution to their specific requirements for their Business Development, Apprenticeships, Work Placements and Bookings / Commercial teams, with a view to extending usage into other departments further down the line.
Oldham College was established in 1893 and each year welcomes around 10,000 students, studying over 500 full time and part time courses plus apprenticeships.
The college has specialist facilities in Finance and Professional Services, Digital and Creative, Health and Social Care, Early Years Education, Construction and Retail and Commercial, and for each of these areas includes a very strong apprenticeship and classroom option.
MSDynamics 365 Education will help the college maintain and improve the already strong employer partnerships that they have across their specialist areas. The Microsoft cloud based CRM will provide in house efficiencies and process streamlining, to the benefit not only of college staff, but also to the local employers and business with whom they engage.
Oldham College are also asking us to develop their apprenticeships portal alongside the CRM.
We look forward to working with both colleges, and playing a small part in their well-deserved and growing reputation as providers of apprenticeships in the region, and their growing contribution of services to learners and business across the North West.
